LRW use some Lace

Hey there--Wednesday already!

That means its another LRW challenge!!

Roseanne challenged us to use some lace..cool!

I un-hoarded some gorgeous vintage lace that my girl Char gave me last year..so so pretty

Added some heat embossing and a woodgrain heart and that was it!!

Blog Hop..dust off those stamps

Hello...Im back.....

Blog Hop..so fun!!

I really loved the challenge this month, gave me a chance to dust off some "not so loved" PTI goodies...

I used dot spot and the pink series of inks..I pop dotted two of them then stamped a sentiment from the scrapbook stamps that have not seen alot of love either (oops)

I buy these things with the best of intentions but.....hmmmm

I was inspired by the blooms so I made some with some may arts grosgrain-folded it in half and stitched into an adordian fold...not really the same as the inspiration pic but WHATEVS!!

Coffee sack clutches

Well hey hey hey!!

Thought I'd pop in and show you a little project I've been working on

I got a bit of a sewing gig for a local coffee shop... (yay)

I made these clutches from the coffee sacks that the coffee come in..

lemme just say...these are NO FUN to sew--this burlap frays like a mutha!!

I used some fuseable interfacing, 2 layers of canvas and HEAVY thread..now they are secure and wont fray!

They measure about 4x9 so a decent size..

What do ya think???

I backed it with some soft organic flannel

I loved this sooo much I made TWO..LOL

One is in my Etsy shop...

Lola even got her craft on...she made a suncatcher

She decided it needed glitter..another great use for stickles...LOL

I made these cute little shabby rose hairbands with some huney bunds I've had kicking around

I even added a non slip elastic band so they stay put!

Well...

its a crappy day here...almost got run over by a UPS truck..jeeeebus!!

Good news is its Wednesday which means a LRW challenge!!

Our chalenge was to use or decorate an envelope..

Joanne actually gave me this teeny tiny 3x3 envelope a while back and I saved it...hahaha

I covered it with some paper and a whimsy from Sassafras...I even made a wee card to go with it!
