Here's another card I made for the Caardvarks embossing challenge.

I've been meaning to make this card forever..I love this woodgrain moose...

I thought he needed a red nose though...

I tried out my PTI Impression plate to mimic the moose's pattern..

Im a little on the fence about these things....not as crisp as I would have liked...

Now...just a mini rant on this kind of thing...

I really LOATHE when things require "Jimmy Rigging"....for example...a new ink pad should not require "smooshing" just to get even colour....how about the product works the way it was intended...without smooshing, shimming, buying additional things to get it to work...

NOVEL concept I know....

OK I digress...

Just Hatched

Hey there!!!

These cards are my project for the final week in the CHF contest.

This week was to do a one sheet wonder.

I have never done that before but had a great time doing it.

I stamped the open plaid backgrounder over a full sheet then cut it up into 4- 4x4 mats. I used the scraps upside down to stamp the nest on.I accented the background paper with a copic to match.

Now I have a few baby cards in my stash..whoot whoot!

CHF week #3 Resist

I'm back with my week 3 card for the Cornish Heritage Farms challenge.

This week it was all about resist stamping...eeeek have not done that in a while.

I used clear EP and sponged on the ink.

This weeks challenge is paper Piecing.

I used the Ice cream image and stamped and masked it 3 times to make a triple scoop cone..go BIG or go Home.... LOL

July DT Sneak and a card challenge

Hi, I'm back...

I survived my weekend..way tired....

Anyhoo, this layout is my sneak for the DT from the Scrapping turtle, I got Mango Luau from Bo Bunny..GORGEOUS!!!

This is my card from Last week's challenge, it was to use something you wouldnt normally put on a card....you all know there isn't much I wouldn't put on a card so I used a sucker!!!

Hopefully I will get back in the swing of things...2 days without my scrappy goodies was HARD!!!

I am a HUGE fan of Kim Hughes' stamps, this set I borrowed from my girl Avril!

I coloured the mail image with copics then masked the waves and tree and chalked the background. I even used some cork for sand!

I snuck in some time yesterday while my Hubby was on a bike tour to make his fathers day card.

I gave Lola my jar of embellishments to choose from and she picked out the felt flower which went PERFECT with Dawn's challenge soooo I made it with those colours!!!
