Bellarific thinking of you

Ok...so I'm a tad early with this but WHATVS.......

This week's challenge over at the bellablog was to make a square card...okie dokie

I actually used a much neglected stamp for this..popped up the clouds and added some floss..

thats it...waaaay too easy..

I loved the card so much I couldn't wait till Friday...lol

Well hey hey.....

I was feelin a wee bit crafty last night..couldn't sleep in anticipation of my LOONIES arriving tomoorow......

Lookie what I did with $10.....

Hey there......

It was my week for Friendzy Friday at 2 Friends....

I've been seeing these DIY shirts all over so I though...what the hell..I'm just gonna do one....




I simply took a yard of Websters Bloomers and pinned it where I wanted it...then hand stitched...easy peasy

I actually wore it yesterday..LUUUURVE

and $10..shut up...I know

oh...and in case I ever need reminding...pleeeeeze tell me not to mix 6 kinds of martinis....have a wee bit of a headache......

Whew...I almost forgot about this....

This month's challenge is to focus on Colour-choose your fav PTI combo...oh where oh where do I start...PTI is my go to for Paper, ribbon, ink,buttons...

I think my most used colours are kraft and summer sunrise..I decided to throw some Hawaiian shores into the mix....

This week sucked the life outta me...jeebus...first strep, then a sinus infection..then...

an EARTHQUAKE..

yeah...I was sitting at my desk when everything started bumping around..I was all like WTF...thinking it was just me....weird. Funny thing that I was sitting in about the same place in 1998 when we had the last one....the there was a tordando..not near me but still...2 disasters on the same day.......I'm ducking my head waiting for locusts....

Great time yesterday at Jeanniefest!!!

I made this little canvas for my friend Jeannie that turned 50 and fabulous!!

She is not a girl that is afraid to drop the F BOMB..gotta love her!!

Here she is laughing...even after her basement flooded... during her party..WTF!!!!

That just flat out sucks!!

We had a great time catching up..laughing...great food..thanks for the invite girl!!!

Well...Im off to bed..again.. yes I am aware it is 1:30 pm on a goreous sunny day......I thought i'd kicked this cold flu thingy.....

Im thiniking I need some antibiotics as it REFUSES to leave my body...GRRR

I kept things pretty simple..I was planning on leaving the heart open but I decided to coat the canvas in gesso then stamp it..I liked it better..

Hey there!!

Its my week for a layout challenge over at two scrapbook friends.

My chall;enge was embossing...I got this amazing Cosmo embossed cardstock and couldnt wait to use it.

I chose a photo of my mom's new Yorkie...Audie..she is so cute..I'm not a fan of small dogs..I prefer BIG dogs but OMG that face....

I kept things kinda monochromatic and very simple..

I even used my new Stampin Up font stamps..ooooh...I am liking these..I've hunted for this font and size forever!!!

I am NO computer whiz so I used the trusty paper and pen technique...

This is what I came up with...some Pebbles, Echo Park..simple but BRIGHT jeez..need my shades

Here's another card I made for the Caardvarks embossing challenge.

I've been meaning to make this card forever..I love this woodgrain moose...

I thought he needed a red nose though...

I tried out my PTI Impression plate to mimic the moose's pattern..

Im a little on the fence about these things....not as crisp as I would have liked...

Now...just a mini rant on this kind of thing...

I really LOATHE when things require "Jimmy Rigging"....for example...a new ink pad should not require "smooshing" just to get even colour....how about the product works the way it was intended...without smooshing, shimming, buying additional things to get it to work...

NOVEL concept I know....

OK I digress...

Hey there!!

Thought I'd pop in really quick with a card...I made this last night. This is based on the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger this week.

I was inspired by the white space with the pops of colour..I made the rosette with some ribbon, dissected a prima for the leaves and there it was.... You all know how I LOVE my swiss dots embossing folder and well well lookie here.. CAARDVARKS has am embossing challenge too!!

The week is 1\2 over...well actually I have Friday off..whoot..can't wait!

I'm going to go take Lola up to my Mom's and hang with the Horses and Donkeys

This week's challenge comes from Avril...she asked us to alter an embellishment or use it in another way...

I chose a K&Co flower stick pin...I used it as an actual flower..not my traditional way of sticking it through some ribbon...well....I did that too...LOL I also used cream twine..coloured it pink with my copic for the clothes line....

June DT reveal

Its June 1st...
that means reveal day!!

This month we got kits from the Paperloft.

I was a tad intimidated...the colours were very masculine...eeek scary..no pink???

The first layout I chose some muted tones

I went with bolder colours on this one...yes..thats Lola...embellishing herself......

and bolder still....My Isaak...just a BIG kid....

Some new Bellas....I used a mix of copics and prismas
