Use it Challenge #3

I'm back with Use it #3.

I am sooo enjoying these!!!

This week we were challenged to use scraps of any kind, at least 2 different ribbons, punch or diecuts and an embellishment you haven't used in a while.

This is what I came up with!

I had scraps of Jillibean, the scallops are from a punch, 2 kinds of ribbon and the little green flowers have been hanging around for months!!

Viola!

This was NOT my idea of how this weeks sketch would look, HOWEVER, Lola needed me to make her birthday card and this is the paper she picked!!!

I just cut out the sentiment and birds then stamped a couple words...voila!!

I'm not crushing on it but she loves it!!

Kristina's Colour Inspiration #47

Hey everyone!!

I managed to get this done on my day off yesterday, I was running around Like crazy betting stuff ready for Lola's Birthday!!

I made this again with the thought of using some scraps, GOD that feels good.

I did use my new SLICE cartridge- I got the Just Chillin-Teen one..its a whole lotta fun and will definitely be playing around a bit this weekend!!

This is my take on the Colour Inspiration- I love these colours together...so fun!!

This week it was Heidi's challenge, you had to use eyelets, something that was a year old and polka dots.

I used some Chatterbox that I couldn't seem to part with when I purged some scraps...I love this paper!!

I got this GOJUS Me and My Big Ideas paper a while ago and decided this was the day to cut into it!!! I hand cut the flower and added some glitter!!!

Well I got my PTI package over a week ago and hadn't inked my new Retro backgrounds stamp yet...eeeek I know .

This was a quickie card just to try them out..and OOOH I gotta say I love the melon berry..its bang on for groovy guava but thats ok cause I was really low on that colour and I loved it..plus PTI's is a bit thicker which is great!!

Here is my sneek peek for the Turtle March reveal.

This month we got the PDQ line from Bisous, I have to admit I was a bit out of my element with these papers, but am happy to say. I really love the end result.

These are designed to be "pretty darn quick", all I added was a few MM stickers, some coordinating Chipboard stickers , primas and some thickers , thsi was quite literally a 5 minute layout!!!
