Hey Y'all

I decided to craft a bit as we are burried in snow right now....

I guess I can't complain much- we haven't had much in the way of winter so far...hmmmmmm

anyhoo- I decided to play with a bella stamp

I inked up Valentine Sprig and highlighted with some pencils, glitter and glossy accents. I guess this could be Valentine but really it could be anything

Well that all I've got for ya today!

I have missed playing with the cards blog challenge the last while so I figured I'd give this weeks challenge a go...

I had to think on this one....

I decided to go simple and monochromatic

I cut out some canvas and paper hearts then stitched them down, and finished it off with a sentiment

vintage ticking valentine

hey y'all

In an ongoing quest to unhoard my fabric stash, I decided to cut up a bunch for embellishments

I have about 2 yds of this vintage ticking that came from my grandma's.

I cut it into 1" strips and ran it through my ruffler.

I decided to make a rosette with part of it instead of just a straight ruffle.

I'm thinking of doing a share over on our new forum

funky retro print rag quilt

Thought I'd post another quilt I've made over the last while

I used a bunch of funky Art Gallery prints for this one

Here is the back-

I use prints on both sides- it uses way more fabric but it looks sooo much better I think!!

I'm so excited, I actually got to scrapping a few vacation pics last weekend

These were taken in the pool (obviously) while in Playa del carmen in November.

I love using polaroid frame for small pictures

There was a challenge for 4 papers, 3 flowers and 2 buttons
This is what I came up with

I used some MME papers, American Crafts and PTI stamps. MFT dies and a canvas corp

mini envelope-

kind of a mish mash of everything

LRW 2 different ribbons

Dee's challenge this week was 2 different ribbons- I actually had a hard time with this one cause I wanted something different....

I decided on some seam binding for my banners and a thin twill for under my diecut

I kept it super simple but I really like how it turned out

A Bella foursome!!!

I took some time to play around yesterday and came up with this card

I used a total of 4 Bella stamps on this little 4x4 card.

thinking birds french script polaroid and a sentiment from just my type

I popped up the frame and bird and added a bit of twine.

Bella said I could have probably found a spot for 4 more..bwahahaha

Heres a clutch I made with some amazing fabric I picked up at Hobby Lobby ages ago

and a ruffle scarf I made with some Voile fabric- its sooo soft!

this week's challenge was vellum- thats been a while too..lol!!

So I die cut an envelope with vellum and cut some hearts.

I even used journal your art out set for the postage stamp

a wee canvas

so..

I spent some time crafting this weekend, no plans, just putzing

I decided to do a canvas.

I started with artsy house and prismas. I used a stencil and some modeling paste, paint, and fabric .

I had a blast - have to make some more of these!!
