Happy Long weekend!!

I did a few cards this past week...I went a little non traditional with this one.

I had these Amy Tangerine pieces that I wasn't sure what to do with.

Then I had an idea

 

I used cardboard and gesso...kinda different right??

I decided to play along with the LOVE challenge

over at moxie fab world!!!

Im back with my bellarific sketch for this week

I decided on some echo park paper for this week.

I also used rose with a hearty centre and grandma's gramophone sentiment

as the focal point..

I just love those Rheea sentiments!!

Lola decided her teacher needed a bag as a year end gift so I got my stitching on!!!

I used Amy Butlers Frenchy bag pattern and Lola picked the fabrics

The one hour thing was fun but stressful...

Lola got a massive sliver about 20 minutes into it so

Wednesday already!!

Our challenge this week at LRW was Kraft

well I love Kraft cardstock nbut I took it in another direction (sort of)

 

I used some Kraft core cardstock..pretty cool stuff!

I mean I couldnt emboss a 12x12sheet but just sanding it has a cool effect

I also used soem cardboard and some kraft embellies which I inked

Hello there!!

I actually made this Friday before I felt sick and had to back to the hospital...

Good news is that I'm on the mend but not sure how crafty I will be for a while...LOL

anyhoo...this weeks chellenge over at casual Fridays is vellum or acetate

I just happened to have a scrap of this Dear Lizzy vellum left from a crop a couple weeks ago so that was my jumping off point

I added an embossed sentiment, a MME Sticker and some stitches..that it!

I mixed in some older sassafrass and Jolees flowers.

I used an empty towel roll and OA mits for the background
