Thought I'd play along with a challenge while we were iced in this past weekend

 

I decided to play with the

cas-ual fridays new year challenge

I was also able to play with the  10 minute craft dash as this took 7 min 32 seconds

 

 

I used some AC paper with pti stamps and a bit of embellishments

its my week over at LRW

 

I wanted to see non traditional colours on a Christmas or Holiday card

no red or green

 

 

I used some inktense pencils on watercolour paper and just

scribbled then blended

 

I finished it off with a sentiment

fort firefly quilt

so I finally finished up some sewing projects

 

this is a quilt I did with Birch organics fort firefly

 

I didn't use a pattern, I bout a bunch of fat quarters and just started cutting

 

eeek scary

it all worked out though

a Christmas six pack!!!

I had a request from a co-worker for a set of 6 cards

 

I used Nordic Holiday from Bazzill

Kinda loving the rustic feel of these colours

 

 

 

I added a few bits of other things I had laying around that I thought

 would compliment the line
