I'm back on a roll !!!!!!

Well................................ I finally have the "itch" to scrapbook again. I have been totally occupied by cards- they just seems to be quicker! I forgot how much I enjoy doing layouts.

I do like keep things pretty simple- I usually use one or 2 photos-just more pleasing to my eye that way.

I LOVE this photo of Lola- this was at my in laws at Christmas- she apparently does NOT like the word NO!!! She is a very sweet but willful child...... and very expressive as you can see!!! This is her "passive aggressive" eye blinking pose.

What I used:

In this layout I used Patterned paper from DCWV Pocket Full of Posies Glitter Stack. I love that stuff- bright colours and some bling- how can you go wrong with that? The base is 12x12 Textured Wild Wasabi from Stampin Up. The others Cardstock pieces are Stampin Up and Bazzill. The embellishments were die cut with Nestabilities and random Circle Punches. I used American Crafts Thickers for the title. The crown is a stamp from Heidi Swapp that I stamped with Ink and then "smooshed" platinum stickles all over it. The Bling brads are from the dollar store. The chipboard flower stem is Fancy Pants and I painted it with Stampin Up craft ink. The stamps on the cardstock are from Heidi Swapp, Close to my Heart and something else but Ihonestly have no idea.......

Card for Scraps

I had this left over small piece of Chatterbox paper from my Valentines cards. Normally I shove it in a pile with all my other scaps and never do anything with it again.
I loved the paper so I thought I would do a 4X4 little card instead of HOARDING.

I used Papetrey stampers select for the base, Stampin up Cranberry and Bazzill Pink Cardstock. The sentiment and stars stamp is Verve Visual, the square is from Papertrey's Borders and Corners and ink is Stampin Up.

I gotta start doing more this instead of filing pieces away never to be seen again.

You Rock!

I had these little dollar store chipboard alphabets that I LOVED the shape of but they were BUTT- UGLY!!!

I painted them with an Adironack Paint Dobber and smooshed Pearlex on them to make them shimmery.

Patterned paper is My Minds Eye and the cardstock is Stampin Up. The little crown is from Heidi swapp and the You is from papertrey's Paper tray.

The Cardstock is stampin Up which I ran through my cuttlebug and Pattered paper is Rob and Bob.

Scapbook Layout... at last

This is my Daugher Lola (22 months) and our dog Nikita. It was super cold that day but they both had a blast.

It has certainly been a while since I have done a layout!! I've been on a bit of a card kick lately.

Please excuse the photo- could NOT get a decent one to save my life!!

I used Basic Grey Lily Kate papers, Basic Grey Thickset Chipboard alphabets which I covered in paper and distressed. The little flowers are punched from Stampin Up's Boho Punch. The Bling brads are from making Memrories. I stamped the "puppy" with Paper Trey's Tajan alphabet and ink is palette.

I prefer to stick to 1 page layouts with a larger photo. I am not a fan of busy busy layouts..not a fan of bust busy cards either.... lol!

Just Playin'

Well, I'm kinda into these sketch challenges on Splitcoast. This one is SC157. Goes pretty speedy when you don't have to plan anything- this little baby took all of 5 minutes--sweet!

I used Reminisce Patterned Paper & Stampin Up Cardstock. I dusted off my Happy Harmony Stamps (forgot how MUCH I love that set) and inked them with my Palette Inks. I accented with some green dew drops which ended up looking clear on the Paper???

Verve Visual Sketch

When I saw these stamps I HAD to get them. I have a thing for Stars. (inside joke- had to be there right Dee and Dana)

This is my sketch for the Verve Sketch Challenge. I used Seeing Stars & Starlight Remixed.

I am really happy with the stamp quality- very crisp and clean.

The PP is DCWV. I wanted a bold image to go with the bold paper so I used Staz-on red and black. I accented with red, silver and white paper to make things pop.

I masked the big star and used the swirly stamp, then a smaller star which cut out and popped it out with a dimentional-can't really see it in the photo though.

Bright and Cheery

When I dug out my DCWV glitter stack I saw this paper and immediately thought Baby Boy. I used Stampin Up celery cardstock which I ran through the cuttlebug. The embossing folder co-ordinated nicely. I used the Cuttlebug Red Tag Alpha for the letters. The accents were Bazzill scraps.
