well one of my goals this year was to use up some of my fabric scraps....

I decided to make some flowers

these can either go on your coat/sweater or in your hair (which is where I'll be wearing them)

Birthday Wishes

Well I totally snuck this one in last minute!!

I've been meaning to do the vertical sketch over at MOXIE FAB for over a week but just never seemed to get to it.

Well I finally did

I used up some delish Fig Tree fabric scraps for the flags and made a totally simple card..but I LOVE it.

So I finished the project I started last week..

I love this Moda fabric...scissors..are you kidding me...

I backed it with some soft organic flannel

I loved this sooo much I made TWO..LOL

One is in my Etsy shop...

Lola even got her craft on...she made a suncatcher

She decided it needed glitter..another great use for stickles...LOL

Baby Quilt...

so..

I finally finished the quilt for my friend's baby shower in November..
Remember this card ...well here's where I got the scraps..

I love this cloud nine fabric soooo much I couldnt bear to waste any..

I used minkee on the back...so soft...

I'm so in love with this...maybe I'll keep it and opt for a store bought gift......NAHHH

You all know I have a teenie bit of an obsession with sewing right now so it was an easy pick

I used some scraps of this really pretty Moda fabric that matched PTI melon berry perfect

I havent made any get well cards lately...good to have a few on hand right!

I've missed the last few week's of Challenges over at the cards blog BUT I knew I just had to play this week..

The theme is kites--yep love it..

Sooooo...

I actually used a scrap fronm Lola's quilt and just sewed it into a kite .

I used my BFF's idea with the sentiment-she doe sthis all the time and I love it!!

lsc 94...Inspiration

Well TGIF....its has been hot as HELL here....looking forward to a bit of a cooler day without the humidity!! Humidity is NOT my friend...

Its LSC day and it was my pick..

I've been obsessed with fabric lately and I saw this photo on the Moda website and it just screamed INSPIRATION PHOTO to me..

Being the literal type that I am...I took the photo LITERALLY...

I even used the same fabic as the photo...I found a jelly roll on sale..oooh yeah...gotta love a sale

I also used my newest Lawn Fawn stamps..I gotta say..these things are fabulous!

This also fits for the current Moxie fab challenge..the card is basically 100% fabic..except for the base....
