Blog Hop Reduce Reuse recycle

It is that time again..PTI blog hop!

This month's blog hop is all about reusing so.....
I reused some gift wrap and a ribbon that came on a Bath and Body Works parcel, some chipboard from a swap, and a button that fell of my shirt the other day..... and bang...there ya go.

The only un-reuseable stuff is the base and stamp-the rest were scraps

Pagemaps Sketch welcome little one

Its been a while since I did one of these so...here it is.


This is based on the Pagemaps most recent sketch contest. I was in a short supply of baby cards so this was just the kick in the pants I needed.

I flipped the sketch 180 degrees, it just seemed to work better for the image I wanted to use.

Kristina's Colour Inspiration #25..... I forgot

Whew....what a nasty case of the flu that was Tuesday and Wednesday.....you know you're sick when you don't even touch your craft supplies or computer...geesh.

Ok so excited for this card..I love @2S4U, their sketches are the best IMO...and very "scrappy".



Here is my take on Laura's Sketch #15... I just need to do something bright and cheery this week....it is frickin freezing here right now.

I dug through my stash and POW....I saw this amazing Sassafras paper....bright and cheery accomplished!!!!

Well I managed to do a layout this past week....I know amazing huh.


Lola successfully sat on Santa's lap and did not FREAK her lid...she was very cautious though. A few days after this photo she leaped on Santa;s lap at our work Christmas party so the fear has surpassed. I got NO Santa photos last year.

Kristina's Colour Inspiration #34 PEEP

These are getting more challenging each week....eeeek!!!



I was a bit afraid of these colours at first glance..the sage really threw me!! BUT!!! thanks to Papertrey most of the colours were already at my fingertips.

2S4U #15 and a Bonus

I'm not sure if I've said this before...I (heart) 2S4U!!!!! The sketches are the BOMB!!!!

I love them so much I did both this week!!!




The first card is Kazan's Sketch #15- I was dying to get my hands on the new October Afternoon paper and I just needed to cut into it asap!!! It screamed wedding to me for some reason.
The second card is the bonus sketch this week which I also used for the Card Challenge on the Turtle forum this week- use non traditional colours for a Christmas card....Ok no problem... I love pink and brown together anyways.

LSC #16 Merci

Happy Friday!!! Its LSC time again..... I am actually embracing my inner American visiting my In-Laws in Ohio for Thanksgiving...so please bear with me for not visiting your blogs...no WIFI?????? I may actually die!!!
I wanted to do something non seasonal and use some new colours- I love this combo sooo much.
I kept my card super simple- I wanted the paper and sentiment to be the focus. I inked the chipboard frame and heart so they would match.

Kristina's Color Inspiration #32

Ok Ok just when i thought I was DONE with Christmas..........
My friend Jewels sent me the MOTHER of RAK packages and this awesome chipboard snowflake was in the parcel ..how could I not use it???
I used the new ranger Crackle paint and rubbed some gold ink on it-- purdy huh??

Blog Hop..... make your own flowers

Well I have got to say I welcomed a NON- Christmas challenge, need a break from Christmas stuff.




I decided to use some neglected products for this challenge, my Purple patterned papers-- I love them.....just forgot about them..that's a sure sign I have WAY too much stuff!!
I just used various circle punches in an attempt to recreate those awesome Prima flowers. I added a bit of stickles too.
