gold dipped celebration

Its my turn for my weekly card challenge

I chose gold dipped...something new for me anyways!

I die cut some MFT feathers, Your Next Stamp sentiment and heat embossed with gold

basically just smooshed it into the versamark and added gold powder

LOVE it  made this for a special person who did something HUGE

so....

 I dug out my massive stash of Crate paper ephemera and came up 

with this cheerful birthday card

I just love how this card turned out..may actually have to give it away!

trying something new

well its a new year

time to try something NEW

I got this embroidery hoop kit at Joanne's a while back and it has

 just been sitting and sitting.. I was scared to try it

Well I'm happy with the results, not bad for a first effort with french knots and such

This is resting happily in my daughter's room now

The pic is hard to tell but its a 4" hoop so pretty tiny!
