Hey Y'all

I decided to craft a bit as we are burried in snow right now....

I guess I can't complain much- we haven't had much in the way of winter so far...hmmmmmm

anyhoo- I decided to play with a bella stamp

I inked up Valentine Sprig and highlighted with some pencils, glitter and glossy accents. I guess this could be Valentine but really it could be anything

Well that all I've got for ya today!

cards challenge 6 hearts???

I have missed playing with the cards blog challenge the last while so I figured I'd give this weeks challenge a go...

I had to think on this one....

I decided to go simple and monochromatic

I cut out some canvas and paper hearts then stitched them down, and finished it off with a sentiment

vintage ticking valentine

hey y'all

In an ongoing quest to unhoard my fabric stash, I decided to cut up a bunch for embellishments

I have about 2 yds of this vintage ticking that came from my grandma's.

I cut it into 1" strips and ran it through my ruffler.

I decided to make a rosette with part of it instead of just a straight ruffle.

I'm thinking of doing a share over on our new forum

-any takers??

funky retro print rag quilt

Thought I'd post another quilt I've made over the last while

I used a bunch of funky Art Gallery prints for this one

Here is the back-

I use prints on both sides- it uses way more fabric but it looks sooo much better I think!!

I am sick of this dreary weather so...

I made a really bright and colourful card based on our sketch this week

I decided on flutterby, its been a while since I used this stamp.

I coloured with my pencils and accented with liquid pearls.
