TGIF...I mean really..what a week

Good news is that I'm off to Buffalo with my bff for some retail therapy!!

Anyhoo...down to "bidness"....

Maria Challenged us to use snowflakes..okay then..

I dug deep and found some stuff from last year and made this 5x5 card

Chalkboard Tags

Well

I have been shuffling fabric around again and decided that I needed a better way to label whats in where..

I made some Chalkboard tags with a pti die and about 4 layers of chipboard.

I got the idea when I peeked at the make it monday post on Nicole's blog

I made 16 of these because I have 16 (blush) bins of fabric stuff

I bought some Martha Stewart Chalkbord paint and painted the pieces. I finished it off buth buttons and ribbons.

I think this will work..hmmmmuntil I decide I need to do something different

Roseanne challenged us to do a postage themed card...this really got me thinking

I wanted to do something totally different, so...

I broke into some 7Gypsies embellishments, made myself a wee envelope and used an

ancient CHF background.

Hey there!

Its been quite a while since I made any of these and I had a couple requests so I set to work

I used napkins that I got at Chapters- I LOOOOVED this amazing linen..the texture and pattern was too amazing to pass up

I even used a covered button on these ones

Card Patterns- hello friend

Hello Monday.....

I decided to unhoard some Fancy pants embellishments this weekend and make a card base don this week's card patterns sketch

I kept it pretty clean and simple true to the sketch..

I loved the inspiration pic this month and totally had glittered stripes on the mind.

I just added some sentiments and die cuts..that was that.

Our theme this week is goodbye summer- use some butterflies!!

I unhoarded a whole bunch of older stuff here- jenni bowlin bingo card, old october afternoon papers and old making memories chipboard and a PTI stamp that had never seen ink.
